Safe Medical Tourism
So, is medial tourism both safe and affordable?
Yes, absolutely, at least at CosMed Clinic. Medical tourism to Mexico or another country may be the only way that you can get the procedures performed. The costs of procedures in the US are astronomical for a variety of reasons, but CosMed Clinic has US board-certified surgeons trained in the US and Mexico with extensive backgrounds in a variety of plastic surgical techniques and offer the same level of care that you would receive at the best US clinics.
Do you offer procedures that I can get in the US?
Yes, we offer a variety of standard and advanced techniques. Some of our categories of procedures include facial procedures (face lifts, face and lip enhancements, rhinoplasty, otoplasty, and mentoplasty), breast work (augmentations/implants, breast lifts, breast reductions), general body contouring procedures (abdominoplasty extended/modified, liposuction, lipectomy, lipoplasty, ultrasonic liposculpture, buttock lifts and augmentations, arm lifts, body lifts, inner thigh lifts, and bariatric surgery or lap bands), and non-surgical skin rejuvenation and tightening techniques (BOTOX, laser therapies, fat/synthetic fillers). We also have a medical spa facility.
Will you perform the procedure I request?
Many of the procedures that we perform are elective surgeries. We perform a thorough medical examination and discuss your options and determine if you are a candidate for a particular procedure. Some surgeries are essentially out-patient procedures, but some do require a hospital stay and can take several weeks to fully recuperate. If we believe that you health will be jeopardized, or if you are not yet a candidate because of current health issues, we will inform you of our medical decision and recommend alternatives or other treatment.
