The cost of plastic surgery in Mexico can vary, just as it can vary throughout the US. The cost of plastic surgery in Mexico for US citizens has multiple variables, but we can assure you that our procedures are safe and affordable with financing options available. Most insurance companies will not cover elective cosmetic procedures and therefore the financing is generally up to the patient. But, there are several factors to consider:
- Our plastic surgical procedures are generally more affordable than at US clinics; our surgical fees are quite reasonable
- We will need to see you for an initial consultation, or, if necessary, one of our doctors can consult with you on the phone; we will need photographs of the areas of the body in order to assess which procedures are applicable
- You will need to have standard blood tests and lab tests done before any procedure in order to determine general health and if there are procedures that would not be safe depending on your physical condition (we will not perform procedures if our doctors believe the patient will have adverse or permanent, negative results); we will need to have the results from your lab two weeks before any procedure
- If transportation to CosMed will require air travel, we suggest that you get a consultation with a cosmetic surgeon and have that physician send us the results or contact us for a consultation
- All appointments should be made at least three weeks before the procedure
- Fluctuations in currency occur every day, but with the exchange rate, you can rest assured that costs will be relatively lower in Mexico due to our overall reduced operating expenses
- Medical spa facilities are available during your stay
- Other expenses including a hotel, airplane tickets, driving costs, and other expenses, and don’t forget your passport!
- Will you need repeated visits for multiple procedures, or can your surgery be dealt with in one clinic visit?
